Our Minister
Darin and Kimberly Kennedy are deeply honored to be called to serve the church in Sierra Madre as its first full-time minister. They have been married for 31 years after meeting at Abilene Christian University, and they have served in ministry in Texas and, most recently, in Missouri. Their desire is to see individuals and the church as a whole transformed by the Spirit of Jesus Christ. They are available for prayer and encouragement and Bible study, as well as spiritually serving you in the important events of life, such as getting married, having children, experiencing doubt and uncertainty, and losing a loved one.
Darin enjoys pickleball, basketball, and working out, along with chess, reading, and cooking. Kimberly enjoys creative outlets like floral design and crafts.
They have raised two boys. Michael is 25, newly married to Helen, and preaching full-time for a church in Pleasant Hill, MO. Daniel is 21 and ready for work and college in their new California home.
